If you haven't been to Times Square in a while - things have certainly changed over the past year.
With the new traffic patterns instituted and the pedestrian mall - the area is alive and teeming with people from all over the world.

These pics show the depth of people from edge to edge.  It's really an amazing transformation now that Broadway is closed.

The overview shot is from the top corner of the risers which is shown in a sweep panoramic shot far left corner.  The last is a shot from about 3 blocks away of the big screen with tourists taking pics at the top of the stairs.  720mm close up shot.
